Rotary International

It is a civil organization that counts on the altruistic activities of its more than one million members. Rotary clubs were founded around Europe during the past century when countries acted independently from one another. Although, today the EU comprises 27 countries, many European Rotary Clubs still mainly interact at the local or national level. More can be done at a European level.

The celebration of Plus Europe Conference should be contemplated within the Fourth Objective of Rotary, that is,“to promote understanding, goodwill, and peace among nations

All European Clubs are invited to participate regardless of their country membership to the EU. Non-European Rotary Clubs are also invited as Observers, especially those of the Mediterranean Basin.
