Structure - Plus Europe Organising Committee Meeting

The Plus Europe Association

The Plus Europe Association is a civic entity that acts as a bridge between citizens and European Institutions.

The Plus Europe Association is a network of committed citizens that works to achieve a European Civic Alliance by promoting a new model of European governance based on mutual respect between the citizen and the different levels of European governance.

Mission

Plus Europe’s mission is to be a catalyst for citizen participation in European governance, to reduce the so-called ‘democratic deficit’ affecting the European Union and fostering the development of the integration process of this supranational entity.

Vision

The vision of Plus Europe is the consolidation of a European model of governance where the citizen is key and actively and transversally participates in all sectors of society, providing the necessary input to plan and implement public policies to representatives and government delegates in accordance with the public interest and the common good.

Objectives

Plus Europe’s main objective is to encourage civic participation in European governance. In other words, Plus Europe works to promote civic networks related to the business, professional and civic sectors in order to develop a more active role in European governance, since greater civic participation in Europe means a better Europe for everyone.
